If you’ve got an android phone and perform lot of social updates, text messages, e-mails etc, you might wanna give this awesome gadget a try. The Xperia SmartWatch from Sony allow you to use about 30 features directly from your wrist but the number of supported features is likely to rise to around 60 in few weeks. It gets connected to your Android device via Bluetooth and then the game begins. Android users need to download SmartWatch app from Google Play before you could make a connection between the two products.

Such a device was launched earlier by Blue Sky, an Italian company, in their "I’m Watch" range. The customers as well as critics appreciated the idea. However, no other company showed much curiosity about the device and its idea.

 

The latest effort of Sony depends a lot on consumers’ response besides its pricing that has not been unveiled yet by the company.

 

 

 

SmartWatch responds to any incoming calls or notifications by vibrating. Sony also unveiled that a single charge would let the watch work for four days. It also shows around 128 lines on its screen which isn’t bad for text messages or emails. One feature that this watch does not have is the capability of playing audio. It doesn’t have headphone jack, so no chance of using it as a music player. The watch features 1.3? touchscreen with OLED screen and comes in various strap colors of your selection, but comes with black strap by default. If you need any other color, you have to order it separately.

With the launch of Android 4.0 the Indian market has seen the launch of Ice Cream Sandwich low cost tablets from almost every known brand. Recently, iBerry, an affordable-Android tablet brand, announced iBerry Auxus AX02 tablet based on ICS. This is the company’s fourth Android tablet.

We got the device in our test center and here’s what we have to say about it.

First looks and build quality

The adoption of Ice Cream Sandwich operating system for devices has done one wonderful thing for devices, and that is the removal of hardware keys for giving a nice clean front to devices.

When it comes to 7 inch tablets there isn’t much that designers can do to make their device look different. The iBerry Auxus AX02 comes in carbon graphite colour, which looks great and gives a very bold and professional appearance to the device. Another good thing about the design is that the surface has been given a matte finish, which guards against fingerprints and minor scratches.

The Excite 13 will be available with 64GB of storage for $750 (!). The Excite 7.7 is also coming June 10th, at which point it’ll cost $500 for the 16GB flavor and $580 for the 32GB configuration. The 10-inch will beat them both to market, arriving May 6th starting at $500 for 16GB of built-in storage. There will also be a 32GB version for $530 and a 64GB number for $650.

We simply spent some time with LG’s Smart TV with Google TV – it’s the company’s very first TV running the Android-based OS, and it’s added a number of interesting turns to the usual formula. Of certain note is the remote, which has a scroll wheel instead of the middle button on the D-pad and eschews a touch pad in favor of Wii-style movement control for the mouse. The movement control works about as well as the original Wii, which is to say it’s pretty imprecise. The scroll wheel / D-pad combo is genius – or it would be genius if scrolling web pages wasn’t incredibly choppy and slow. We’ll chalk all of these mistakes up to early software and out of alignment calibration after a hard day on the CES show floor for now, but things should get considerably smoother for this to work as an everyday navigational tool.

 

 

Apart from that, LG’s overall skinning hard work is pretty nice – it’s definitely far more tasteful and refined than anything we’ve seen the organization put on its mobile phones, and it makes things like transforming inputs and tweaking settings simple enough. LG’s not saying when this thing is coming out or how much it’ll cost, but we’re guessing it’ll be at least few months to obtain polish and performance up to par.

After being shown off at CES this year, LG was one of a few manufacturers ushering the new era of Google TV’s. Only problem was, without any specific launch details, many have been left wondering exactly when to expect these all new GTV equipped 3D televisions. Well, it looks like a Korean financial firm has it on good authority that the first wave of LG Google TV’s could be hitting US stores as early as this week and priced at $1,600 and $2,100 for 47-inch and 55-inch sizes, respectively.

During our CES coverage, we showed you guys LG’s all new LED televisions that not only feature Google TV inside, but use an improved passive 3D technology, eliminating the need for expensive active-shutter frame glasses. If you’ve been keeping up with the rumor mill, it’s been whispered that LG has been working directly with Google on a “Nexus” branded Google TV, that when combined with Google’s upcoming home entertainment system, should effectively complete their plans for total living room domination.

Speaking with PocketLint, Huawei reps confirmed that the phone is “absolutely” on track for a release in the UK along with an assumed Chinese release. No details were provided on when that would occur, but it will be in good company. Huawei also has plans to release the ultra-slim Huawei Ascend P1 S and its beefier counterpart the Huawei Ascend P1 in the UK as well. The latter could launch as soon as July.

The trio of handsets are among Huawei’s first real forays into the high-end handset market and are designed to compete head-to-head with offerings from already established manufacturers such as Samsung and HTC. Only time will tell if the Chinese manufacturer can carve out a name for itself on a global scale.

Even with a increasing number of browser available on the Google Play Store, Dolphin several HD remains a favorite for power users. The latest update adds a bevy of new features, mainly surrounding Dolphin’s evolving user interface. The biggest change is a new menu bar that slims down the old double-row interface and covers a lot of the less immediate menu options behind more fashionable icons, allowing users to keep an eye on more of the web window at once. Dolphin calls the redesigned menu layout “spring cleaning”. The icons are reduced to the Bookmark bar shortcut, a combined forward/back button, a combined icon for both Gestures and the new voice search feature Dolphin Sonar, the “more” button that grows into the settings menu, and the right-hand menu bar. Refresh has been moved to the top bar and “Exit” is now hidden in the More button. The add-ons themselves get full titles instead of tiny icons, and there’s a new “go to top” option that appears automatically when scrolling up, which avoids backwards scrolling on long pages.

The gestures and Sonar interface obtain facelift too, but that’s mainly cosmetic changes. What this update indicates is that Dolphin isn’t sitting on its heels – they’re in it for the long haul. A lot of these little changes bring about a minimal appearance and immediacy of function that I strive for when I personalize desktop browser like Chrome and Firefox. The fact that the designers of Dolphin are including them on their own tells me that this is my kind of browser. The “scroll to top” button alone is worth a try for any serious web users.

Oh well those of you who feel this way or are pissed off with the your PMP here is a good news for you , Samsung has decided to make you dance on your toes with the new Galaxy s WiFi 4.2 and the Galaxy player 70 plus.

 

Samsung has already a large number of customers and lovers of it’s technology . Previous year also on understanding the need of the market Samsung came up with the Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0 .However it was not loved that much but was appreciated by it’s lovers .However this time the company has offered an update to the Galaxy Player 4.0 and it is known as Galaxy WiFi 4.2 .Along with these modifications offered they have added features to Galaxy player and it is known as Galaxy player 70 plus.

Galaxy 4.2 has a 4.2 IPS screen and is slim and elegant and is having a virtual back .It is powered by the 1GHz processor and has 8 GB storage along with 512MB internal memory(RAM).It functions with Android 2.3 and will soon be upgraded  to Ice Cream Sandwich as said by the company . Following this list of features it will offer also 800×480 resolution with a 2Mp rear camera.

Galaxy 70 plus is a 5” high end model  ,having a battery of 2500mAh and powered by the 1GHz dual-core processor .It works easily with the 1080p videos and has a 5Mp camera .It will be available in 16GB or 32GB versions and would be selling at $350 and $420 respectively in Korea .

 

 

Sony Walkman Z tried out with the dual-core processor but were not able to make because of the price of $250 so people didn’t accepted it for 8GB .

With sales of the PMP’s going down the question is will Samsung get it’s chance??

Google nexus has been the area of interest last year and has been long awaited .But now no more you have to dream of the device as Google has finally decided that it is ASUS who is going to manufacture the product .  ASUS has already been the leader of the industry because of the technology and innovation that drives the company. So this should not surprise you.

The Google has worked on the 7”tablet in a nice manner as it has been in the limelight because of the frequent discussions that have been cropping up because of the Android 5.0 that would be offered by the table .So it appears that ASUS is going to be the one that will make history by working  first on the Android 5.0 technology.

When talking about the features you would be even more delighted as it will be powered by the quad-core Tegra-3 (4-plus-1 architecture) processor which will enhance the processing speed by allowing the distribution of the applications processing depending upon the complexity of the task .
